Dr. Kroft is Professor and Chairman, Department of Pathology. He also serves as Senior Associate Medical Director of Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories, where he is responsible for providing oversight of clinical operations in the laboratory.

Dr. Kroft has a broad interest in hematopathology, particularly in the application of flow cytometry to hematopathologic diagnosis, and is widely published in this area. Dr. Kroft is also active at a national level in organized pathology, and is a Past President of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
